Yuck! This is what I get when I take my own picture!
I wanted to show Cortney my new "do".
Our Christmas tree...part of the lights didn't work. We still enjoyed it.
The tree looks better than these pictures I think.
This is the remains of Dusty's car. He is a fork lift driver for Bill. He was sleeping in Tri State's yard the Tuesday before Christmas. He woke up just in time to get out.
I love those pics of you! "Too cha cha for words!" And you're right, the pics of your tree really don't do it justice...and what the car on fire?! I am so glad to know that no one was hurt! Talk about the nick of time...geez! Thanks for posting and I am currently browsing for a new background for you! Love you and thanks again for everything!
Your tree was really pretty. And what happened to make that car catch on fire? I'm glad he wasn't hurt. It reminds me of my father-in-law's festiva catching fire, they still don't know what caused that one. Your hair looks cute, is it easier to take care of?
Hey Mom! Here is your new background...hope you like it! I also took the liberty and changed your song too. I love the blinkee and this background for you!!! I think it goes with the charcoal car pics too! Love you! And of course Colton wants to watch Lightening McQueen now. ;o)
Oh, I love your haircut! It is really cute. I love the color too. You look beautiful and so does your tree! I see what you mean by "different." It is unique in a good way. It's really cool. I could totally see that tree on display in Poppys. Speaking of Poppys, I took Justin there the other day for the first time. He is hard to impress. It think his exact words were "okay good now I've seen it, can we go?" But, then he found the LDS art gallery part of the store and I couldn't pull him away. There are some awesome paintings that they now have on display. Anyway, we will have to go look when you guys come down. Love you, talk to you soon.
Ha! You're so funny! Of course his first taste of any soda will be Pepsi! J/K thanks for your comment! We did have fun! We miss you too...blog you later! Keep on truckin'! tee hee
"To be a righteous woman is a glorious thing in any age. To be a righteous woman during the winding up scenes on the earth, before the second coming of our Savior, is an especially noble calling. The righteous woman's strength and influence today can be tenfold what it might be in more tranquil times. You have been placed here to help enrich, to protect, and to guard the home which is society's basic and most noble institution."
-Spencer W. Kimball
I Am A Daughter Of God
We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us and we love Him. We will "stand as witnesses of God, at all times, and in all things, and in all places" as we strive to live the Young Women Values, which are: FAITH, DIVINE NATURE, INDIVIDUAL WORTH, KNOWLEDGE, CHOICE & ACCOUNTABILITY, GOOD WORKS, INTEGRITY, and VIRTUE. We believe as we come to accept and act upon these values, we will be prepared to strengthen home and family, make and keep sacred covenants, receive the ordinances of the temple, and enjoy the blessings of exaltation.
My name is Pamela and I've been married for the last seven years to Randy. Randy and I work in the oilfields of Colorado. Randy drives a haul truck, that moves heavy, large iron oil rig pieces all over the western slope and I pilot the trucks wherever they go. We've had many extraordinary life experiences in this exceptional line of work, many indescribable. We've had two drivers we worked with and knew well get killed on the job with us and a few others get really hurt. It's difficult work with long hours so everyone gets to know each other well. We are very much like a family.
I have four amazing children. One son and three daughters...each person very unique and adding their own distinct style and flavor that makes being their mother the most phenomenal reason for living! I did an outstanding job raising these extradinary people for they constantly amaze me with their knowledge and talents. I am immensely blessed because of them and the remarkable grandchildren they have given me.
Whew! Yeah! KEEP IT UP KIDS! We LOVE being grandparents!
We work in the oil field in colorful Colorado, but our hearts are in Utah, Arizona, and Washington!
