I can't get out of my truck to take pictures so I have to take them from inside my truck.
I'm on top of Garden Gulch ready to start down. Parachute is down there...[somewhere]
This is Jackrabbit Compressor Station. This was all brought up this summer by our trucks. They're just about finished building it.
This is Randy waiting to unload at the station. I'm about one mile above him and Aaron. I'm heading back down the mountain.
This is Aaron heading up Garden Gulch for the station...you can see the road behind him that we just came down...just to head up again!
...and another view of Aaron. Randy was behind Aaron so it was difficult to get pics of him. I need to stay a certain distance in front of my loads.

These are a few pics of some deer eating in the apple orchard I mentioned. The pictures are dark because it is pre-dawn. We are told NOT to disturb the wildlife in any manner so I was careful not to startle them. They're so used to people though. People rarely faze them. BTW, I did not kill the raccoon. Tee hee! The other day I had a truck driver hit and kill a rabbit. He announced it over the CB and I replied that he killed Thumper. "Make way for the rabbit killer!" [ He'll be known and called that for the next few rig moves...tee hee..my bad.]

You totally had me laughing at your comment last night! Maybe we should hold a contest and see who is faster: me at changing a background or you at eating a candy bar! tee hee You are funny! I love the sky in these pics! So beautiful! And Colton really likes the "cows" in the pics! I tried telling him that they're deer but he keeps saying cows...I guess we are in need of a trip to the zoo or something! I still can't believe what you do for work! I sure hope you guys are being safe!!! You sure do see some awesome sights though don't you?! And we are lucky enough to share in it by you posting these pics of where you have been! Thanks! We are taking the boys to a pumpkin patch today so look forward to those pics! You know I will rush home to post those! And I already have some cute backgrounds in mind too don't ya know! I am sooooo excited to see Spider-Man and my own little pumpkin at the pumpkin patch today! Love you and tell Randy to stay safe out there! You too! Love you!
I know...it's a problem. I can't seem to stop myself! "...and I smiled at the s.o.b. for I couldn't help myself!" I'm just having too much fun! Have to get ready for the pumpkin patch! Love ya!
Wow, you're really good at taking pics from your car while driving. You can even take pics of animals while STAYING PUT IN YOUR VEHICLE. Hmmm, imagine that...if only. Seriously though, I agree with Darci that we are lucky to be able to share pics with each other to keep in touch. Up until now, I could to imagine what Garden Gulch looked like. I have to say, I expected more Garden, less Gulch. ;) Alright, I'm just being a dork...guess it's bed time for me. I'll blog you soon. I am hoping to make it to the "punkin" patch sometime this week too. I love this time of year!
Yep, you still amaze me with the work you both do. Great pictures. I guess I better find a pumpkin patch around here too so that I can be like everyone else and take my kids there! I'll find one soon and possibly blog them too. We're sorry to have missed you this weekend in Utah, the wedding was beautiful. I'll post some pictures of the few we took when I get a chance. McKell and Caleb were so adorable in their outfits! Okay, gotta run! Love ya!
I'm baaaaaaaaaack!
