The first snow in Utah!

Randy and I were lucky enough to be at home when the weather decided to turn from a warm Fall to a very sudden cold Fall.I thought of Kimberly as I took these pictures for these mountains have been hers for several years. She had a beautiful view!

If you enlarge the pics, you can get a better view of the colors on these mountains. This is my first time to view the change on a more regular time schedule in Provo. I'm more familiar with Colorado and Salt Lake.

This Randy standing in front of Bill and Marcia's home in Parachute. Randy is holding a watermelon from Green River that we stopped and got on our way here today. This plant is huge from how it starts out in the spring. We have teased Bill for three years that it is his marijuna plant. It gets very large but doesn't have any flowers until the season is almost over. Then it burst into hundreds of flowers. It is fun to watch it grow.

This plant is taking over his front yard! I can't believe the radical change it goes through. It goes from ugly to pretty almost over night.

I remember those mountains! I always loved the first snowfall in Utah! Those are beautiful pics! Thanks for posting them, it brings back some fond memories! And tell Randy, "I brought a watermelon?!". Name that movie!

No kidding? I really stumped you on that one?! I am shocked! Okay, here are some hints: the actor the actress says it to starred in Ghost and is now a ghost himself. That is very tacky of me! Just sticking to the Halloween theme! Anyway, another hint: "Nobody puts Baby in a corner." Now if that doesn't give it away than I don't know what to think!!! ;o) Or maybe the reason you didn't get the quote is because I misquoted: is it "I carried a watermelon?" That's probably it! That was my bad. You may have donkeys honking at you but I've go two donkeys crawling all around me and up my legs! tee hee Gotta love my boys! Spook ya later! Love you!

How cool, literally. I can't believe there is snow already in Utah. Is that unusual? Those are some beautiful pictures especially with the color on the mountains. Why do I live in AZ again? Oh yeah, it's like Justin says, "you don't have to shovel sunshine." Although, I have always missed watching the seasons change. It really adds excitement to the holidays I think. That is what I loved most about living in DC. Well, thank you for sharing since it's about all I get to enjoy of the cooler weather. :) Talk to ya soon. Love you.

Oh, those pictures make me miss the mountains so much! Thanks for sharing. And yes, I did enjoy the view for many years, 9 to be exact! Isn't that crazy to think that I lived in Utah for 9 years!!! Time goes by so fast. Anyway, it sure had turned cold up here too. And the colors are starting to change too, but I do miss the mountains. I finally updated my blog tonight so you can check it out. I know you'll love it. :)
