I left my heart in Idaho...

A few pictures of our very short trip to visit Giz, Nick, and two of my perfect grandchildren. We planned on staying longer but we got called back to work. I loved bath time and bed time. I got to read a darling book about Itsy Bitsy Spider. After about the third reading my words began to slur a tad bit. Itsy Bitsy became something else. [I dropped the S and added CH instead. ACCIDENTLY.] We had a good laugh.I got to help Caleb say his prayers. He was so excited about seeing the puh-nik and "urple" flowers that filled the town.Kimberly and I were saying how bright McKell was. We then asked her where her nose was she would point to the middle of her forehead. Everytime. "Missed it by this much." Ummm, yeah...she'll catch on [and all too soon!] We enjoyed our visit sooo much!

Okay, here is your new background and song to accompany your post of your adorable grandkids! I chose this background because of your reading bedtime stories to them...and the song choice is obvious I think! ;o) Love your comments on my latest post! It is all true, maybe not the eating the entire can of frosting all at one sitting...seriously, not true, this time! tee hee It if had been vanilla it would have been snarfed down all at once! Love you and look forward to your visit! Thanks for being brave and admitting to your candy bar stash! That is funny!

So glad you like the new background and song choice! I always like hearing from you about it, especially because I usually just play around with your blog without you asking me to! ;) tee hee I have always loved this song too...she has some great music that really hits your gut and pulls at your heart strings! I love you! Thanks again for letting me know that you like it!

Awwah. Looks like you had fun. Not as much fun as my house of course ;o) We've got sugar cookies. tee hee. Wow, I guess it's been a while since I've seen Kimberly's kids. I think McKell is looking more grown up and maybe even starting to resemble her brother just a bit. I love this song too. Carlie Simon always makes me think of you. Call me when you get a chance. Love you!

Thanks for posting some pictures of your way too short trip! But again, THANKS for helping me clean our old apartment. It defiantly paid off!! This song makes me want to cry because it brings back so many memories of my childhood and it's prefect for my kids because they love that song and the story. Even though it was a bit PG-13 rated when you read it!! tee hee. Love you and miss ya!
